EXPERIENCE & CONSULTING

LOGOSCRIPT was founded in 1988. Since its inception our goal was to provide cutting-edge solutions and services in the DTP market. Our staff, some of whom work with us since the very start, is extremely experienced in all available DTP and graphics software, which allows us to work profficiently with even the most sophisticated tools.
Based on thirty years of experience both in the area of building a repository of content in the XML standard and text processing of publications, LOGOSCRIPT offers consultancy in designing and implementing modern and innovative tools for publishing production.

INNOVATION

Since the establishment of LOGOSCRIPT we have searched for and implemented innovative and modern technologies for the publishing industry. As the first in the Polish market we introduced computer technology to publishing production, Print on Demand, XML and SGML standard. LOGOSCRIPT remains the only company of its kind in Poland using the Arbortext publishing system which supports the processing of marked-up text such as SGML, XML and HTML natively as well as technologies such as Perl, XPath and Unicode. Its rules-based engine allows the stylesheet builder to automate demanding page make-up tasks.

RELIABILITY

LOGOSCRIPT has worked with the most famous Polish and European publishers such as Langenscheidt, Larousse, Klett, Polish Scientific Publisher PWN and Warsaw University Publisher. Our biggest achievement was the participation in the production of the 30 volume Polish national encyclopedia at the stage of DTP services in XML standard with the use of the Arbortext publishing system. As well as this prestigious project, we have prepared a few hundred different kinds of encyclopedias, dictionaries both Polish and bilingual including Chinese, academic books, school books, magazines, novels and much more.
